When cutting use the long side of the knife and  use the thick side of the ruler to cut accurately.

Change 1:
My original design idea was going to have two floors with each floor containing two apartments. I changed it because I didn’t have enough time to make the walls for the second floor. It turned out to be a rooftop pool and dining area because of limited time.
Change 2:
The apartments were supposed to both have big cut open windows along the wall to make it more open and bring more natural light into the apartments. This didn’t happen because the card was very difficult and time consuming to cut so I decided to draw on the windows instead. 
Change 3:
The second floor was supposed to be supported by 2 pillars (wooden sticks) that wood be glued into the living area of the first floor of apartment 1 and 2, because of the facts that we need to be able to see the plan of the first floor I made it go out instead of directly above. This meant that I needed to use the balcony of apartment 2 to glue the stick on to support the balcony above.
Change 4:
The first 2 apartments were meant to have bathrooms in them but I didn’t have time.

Improvements that they thought were really clearly needed were, supporting the second floor with the pool, the scale was completely inaccurate to the point were a couch is bigger than a bedroom, there are no clear entrances, the doorways were not cutout and neither were the windows making it look small and stuffy. The impact that the existing model would not be positive as it does not include natural light or does not look spacious. After improvements such as actually cutting the doors and windows out it would be positive. To build this apartment in the city it would have all of the features of a family home but in moderation and on a smaller scale because of it's location, the city. An example of modifying the typical features of a house but in the city would be a garden on a rooftop and not the backyard, for a pool it would not be a large organically shaped pool it would be a small or thin lap pool or a spa running on the side of the garden or side balcony. The solution to this is to make an apartment that features all of the necessities in a family home but in smaller compact space.  Cities in countries like India, Hong Kong, China and other densely populated countries need space efficient  housing for families working in the populated cities. This is needed because having a family in a small crowded city apartment is not ideal for children of all ages.
