What confuses me about annotated Bibliography is that there are many different ways to annotate Bibliography. I had a refresher on annotated Bibliography in my Government class, slightly different from when I first learned how to annotate Bibliography. Now I have this assignment where we need to annotate 10 Bibliography that is also different. However, when I am annotating, it looks incorrect to me, so I keep trying to correct it back to the way I learned, look at your example, and change it again. Every course is different, and teachers have other requirements, but it is getting me to stay on track.

I've never really done and Annotated Bibliography before and for some reason i just cant grasp the concept around it. I'm assuming that its kind of like a brainstorming thing? You find the sources that for your topic and annotate them already and so you can write your paper based off of that? I'm not really sure but i would say that's my muddiest point is that i just don't understand why.

I don't understand the point of an annotated bibliography it seem unnecessary in the grand scheme of things.

Reading what's on here has helped to clear up a few of the things. I was having trouble with the lack of relevant resources that came up when I tried to find stuff on the "Explain the difference in parenting in the past 50 years" topic. (I'm switching topics). The other thing is, I think I lack the foresight to know exactly what stance I'll take on a paper until I'm writing it/making the outline. So I'm afraid I'll include sources that will end up being irrelevant to the final paper. Will that be okay?

It was all seeming pretty muddy to me to be honest. I think it's just the amount of words that tried to trick me but clears up when I accept that I need to go through carefully and even repeatedly. After taking a while to really go through everything and sit with it, it's been simpler to piece everything together. The video you posted really helped so so much thank you!

If I'm being honest, my main struggle is where to even begin, I mean I started, but I don't know how to make it sound more acknowledgeable.

I think that I have the hang of thing's for the most part. If I have any question once it gets closer to me starting the assignment I will be sure to ask for help.

Annotated Bibliography seems to be straight forward, it is mostly about organization and breaking down information, what I'm most worried about is over researching if that makes sense. I don't want to loose my sight of focus. My goal is to research, select the sources that seem most related to my area of focus, by skimming the sources first; then more carefully read those that seem useful to me.

In my opinion, the part that I most likely would struggle with forming my paragraphs. Just because its going to be a lot of given information and not knowing where to place is the problem.

The part I struggle with the most is how to start the paper and then I get off the topic. I like that you explain pretty well everything, that we are able to understand.

In my opinion choosing a topic is complicated and keep talking about the same thing I think I need to choose really good topic that I am very interest if not i'll just get bored , I also hate reading, not interesting stuff I like reading about the planet and natural energy the soul and body and if my research paper is long blagh it has to be interesting to me to do work or something new in my brain.

Last time I did a research paper was in high school 6 years ago so I really don't remember exactly what I need to do.

What i have trouble with doing a research paper like this is the lack of information that i will have. When its something new or out of my comfort zone I tend to get overwhelmed and just lose focus. Hopefully by the end of this I will build confidence in myself.

The muddiest part of the annotated bibliography is that I tend to get hyper-focused on things that I find interesting, waste time, and unaware that I'm doing unproductive activities.

Self-awareness is important, and I let my discipline get in the way of accomplishing things on time. This makes it especially hard when I tend to overcomplicate my assignments. As Ms. Buckley stated before, I should simplify my future assignments.

For me I mostly had trouble looking for the information needed for report. Most weren't what I actually wanted. And those that seemed helpful had to paid for.
