This is a difficult one to discuss as our films actors are all British, meaning there's a lack of ethnic differences in our thriller. However, this doesn't mean our audience cancels out other ethnicity's - just with the language being English would mean our film attracts English speaking viewers more.

Our thriller is set to include both genders (an equal amount of both too), meaning both genders are targeted as our audience. However, feminists may argue that certain points of our narrative are patriarchal.

As a group we decided that the main age range our thriller is targeted towards is 15-25 years old. This is because the main characters are sixth form students, whom teenagers and young adults are most likely to relate to. Although, another character in our thriller is an adult, showing that our film doesn't exclude older ages watching.

Our audiences interests should include drama, conflict, crime and brain teasing. Our thriller will also target the audience known as the 'thinkers', who are constantly questioning themselves on the narrative and what will happen next etc. - all the excitement!

Due to the age range our thriller is targeted towards, I would tilt more onto stating that our audience is a niche one. Also as the film is set in England, the British are most likely
to be the majority of the audience.

The location of the thriller is a town in the middle of England, meaning that the audience will be mainly British as the area isn't as well known - in comparison to if the thriller was based in a well-known city such as New York, that wold attract a much bigger audience.

With the thriller leaving the audience constantly questioning the plot, I would have to say that the audience would be active. A passive audience wouldn't be able to understand the film as well, due to it constantly challenging the brains of the viewers.
