I chose Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta. They were co founders of the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA). They striked against grape growers in Delano, California. This strike was a way for powerless farmer workers to fight for better working conditions. However, after six months of striking, the growers wouldn’t compromise with the workers. So Cesar and Dolores led strikers to the state capital in Sacramento. They asked Americans to stop buying grapes, which they did, and led to an agreement on July 29, 197, with twenty-none growers, ending the strike and boycott.
