One of the many curiosities about the building is that it was given the name "House of the Niches" because it has on its façade two statues of relief that represent things of the Annunciation, dating back to the 15th century.
Inside the establishment there is an exhibition with prehistoric objects, the Iron Age and Roman times.

I advise this place to historians and children as they can come learn about the past of Viana do Castelo and do manual activities for example: a pedy-paper, mud work among others!

And finally we would like to advise some places of Viana like the church of Santa Luzia, fountain, train station among others.
Beatriz, Gonçalo, Rodrigo Bastos 6.ºB

The Basilica of Santa Luzia was designed by Miguel Ventura Terra and Miguel Nogueira Júnior, from 1904 to 1959. This temple is located on Santa Luzia hill, built in the Roman style. This Basilica is also called the church of the romance, as it is the temple with more weddings in Viana and next door there is a hotel called "SANTA LUZIA ARTHOTEL" which is a place next to the church. This temple was inspired by the Basilica of Sacré Coeur in Paris. This temple features a plant in the shape of a Greek cross.
In the nineteenth century, Century of the Black Plague, Portugal lived in a miserable way. In Viana there was a well-known saint, who promised God that she would make a church on the hill of Santa Luzia in exchange for the extinction of the disease, and that everyone would walk to the church, which is still celebrated today.
Leonor Quarteu,Afonso e Filipe Rosas-6 ano A

Justo Baldvído (Bishop of Ceuta).
The Cathedral of Viana do Castelo was finished in 1455. The Church was dedicated to the divine Savior.

The Cathedral of Viana do Castelo, although presenting a Romanesque structure, is undoubtedly a work of influence by the Gothic aesthetics.

With the name of Casa dos Arcos, created by João Velho located next to the Sé Cathedral in the side, this one was created in Century XV.
This house is linked to a tradition in which João Velho lived here, better known as the Old Man, being this navigator and a notable one of the village, that hosted King D. Manuel I, during his pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. However it is known that in reality here lived his son that by coincidence had the name of João Velho, that would be the son, and that the father lived next to the Door of the Postigo. It was considered a national monument in 1926.
It must be visited because it was considered one of the few examples of Gothic civil architecture that remains in Portugal, having been built in an era of economic and social development of the town. Near it we can find the old boardrooms, the costume museum and other monuments.

The fort of Veliki Tabor is one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of secular architecture in continental Croatia, with a unique monumental and authentic fortification structure. Situated at the top of Mount Hum Košnički, at 333 meters above sea level, it has dominated the Zagorje area for over half a millennium, during which time the architecture has blended in with nature. The impressive view from Veliki Tabor stretches over the entire Hrvatsko Zagorje area and part of Slovenia. This zero-category monument is one of the most recognizable identities of not only Hrvatsko Zagorje but of Croatia as a whole.
