my family came from Mexico in the 1990s my grandma was a teen mom and my dad was a 3 year old kid and they were coming for a better life for my grandma to try to give my dad a better life and be able to win more money or earned it and they first came to the USa by coming to Tijuana and then crossing to San Diego then they were in Cali like in Richmond Cali in the bae are for a couple months and later on they came to Illinois and they have been here ever since and that's where my dad was able to learn English and was raised in the Michael Jordan bulls prime era

struggles

some struggles my family faced coming to the USa was that they didn't have a lot of money so they had to paid off the coyote after they got here so they had to come and work right away to be able to pay back the coyote when they came they live in a house full of people and they weren't living in the correct conditions right away but they were able to find stable conditions and do better by worker and coming toi Illinois and growing up my dad live and move around a lot and he started working at 16 getting paid 4 dollars a hour because of how low minum wage was back in the day

when my grandma was in Mexico and growing up she was Catholic and she raised my dad one and my uncles and tias but then eventually she learn about a new religion about Jehovah witness and she started going to those meetings and ever since I've been born my family have been jehoiv ah witness so we really don't celebrate holidays like Christmas or other ones like halloween
