Eleanor and Park is a coming of age love story set in the 1980s. Eleanor and Park meet on the school bus and bond over music. There is some trauma included in this book, so sensitive readers should be cautious. This book tackles the issues of poverty, abuse, and race/identity. I think anyone who liked Looking for Alaska or 13 Reasons Why may also like this book. --Ms. Stayvas

I reccomend "These Things Ive Done" by Rebecca Phillips to anyone who loves a book full of suspense and unexpected, yet brilliant, advice. The book follows a teen who is coping with the responsibility of her best friends death. Even though it might be a year later, the internal consequences continue to capture her mind. A mixture of this trauma and the regular high school issues makes for an amazing story. How can she return to normal life with this burden reflecting on her at all times?

The movie for this book is also good and finishing the book before watching it makes it better
