Assalamualaikum

#1. I am Amirah 'Afifah Binte Mohamad Roslan.

#2. Currently, I am staying in Woodlands, Singapore.

#3. I am taking a degree in PERGAS, IIUM affiliated degree called Bachelor of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage.

#4. My previous school is Andalus, Singapore.

#5. I have 4 other siblings.

#6. My hobbies are playing chess, reading, walking and playing mobile games.

#7. Favourite chapter from the quran

He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding. [Quran, 2:269]

Here, it depicts knowledge to such great depth. Knowledge encompasses fardhu ain and kifayah and that both knowledge helps in the dunya and the fardhu ain helps in the akhirah. This verse is embedded in me that having good knowledge will be reflected in your character and thus I fulfil my obligations and seeking knowledge in the path of Allah s.w.t

#8. Favourite chapter of hadith

Iyad ibn Khalifa heard 'Ali say at Siffin, "The intellect is located in the heart. Mercy is located in the liver, Compassion is located in the spleen. The self (nafs) is located in the lungs."

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ بِصِفِّينَ يَقُولُ‏:‏ إِنَّ الْعَقْلَ فِي الْقَلْبِ، وَالرَّحْمَةَ فِي الْكَبِدِ، وَالرَّأْفَةَ فِي الطِّحَالِ، وَالنَّفَسَ فِي الرِّئَةِ‏.‏

Alhamdulillah, this module was a great eye-opener as I delve into the different dimensions of understanding and perfecting my prayers, sadaqah, sawm and hajj. We've learnt the virtues of performing these acts of worship and that the act alone is independent of intention and belief; such that both are conflating and essential in achieving the purest form of spiritual state.

Hikmah is the spiritual wisdom and growth one has to take up upon doing the amal.

Ehsan is imperative and inculcates a sense of awareness, inquiry, understanding, awareness and act upon it.

Having the right intention is complete and syumul to doing a deed; so we will achieve the rewards.

Salah allows us to expiate immorality and sins.

AT-TAWBAH:103 مي ع عيمس ل ل ّٱو مهل نكس كتو ص نإ مهي ع لصو اهَ مهيكزتو مهِهطت ةقدص مهلومأ نم ِخ Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah ‘s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
