I think the book so far is great! I love how Jack and Joseph are becoming close, almost like friends! I wonder if they will become friends by the end of this book. I realy want to know what will happen to Jupiter and Maddie. I really hope that they find eachother.

Right now I'm really liking this book. But I hope that we eventually learn more about Joseph's life before he came to live on the farm. I like how it makes you think about your own life and how lucky I am to have a good family. I can't wait to read the rest of the book.

I really enjoy the story line of the book so far. I think one reason he may be scared if someone goes behind him because he probably got beaten when they lined up at his prison. I really hope we get to meet Maddie and Jupiter later in the book. The amount of detail and thought put into the book is great. I am looking forward to discovering more about Joseph and his story.I can't wait to read more.

So far I really like the book Orbiting Jupiter. It is very interesting and very detailed. I like how much symbolism is in the book and how much action is in the book. I think that Joseph will eventually be able to find his daughter while making many friends along the way. I think he will eventually get used to living on a farm and learn the values found in his experiences there. I am very excited to continue the book

I think this story has a lot of potential so far. Joseph helps you realize how much we take for granted. We never realize everything that we have that so many others have. We always assume we will have our family around us and they will always be there to protect us. I assume that Joseph will start to open up to Jack. But since the government thinks that they know best, they will probably move Joseph away. Kids at school will probably cause some problems. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds.

There were so many parts of the first section that stuck out to me. I loved the part when the boys came back from falling into the river. When Jack's mom told Joseph he could not have coffee, but hot chocolate instead, it made me think about how she's trying to preserve Joseph's childhood. It's ironic she said he was "too young" to drink coffee because he has a child. It's like the mom wants to remind Joseph that he IS still a child and she wants him to still have a childhood, even though he is a father.

I like the the book because here in South Dakota I can relate to both characters in many ways.We also have a lake that freezes over in the winter. We go ice fishing and ice skating all winter. I can relate to falling in the lake too. But I'm okay. I really hope Joseph finds Jupiter and that Maddie finds Joseph.

I like this book because Joseph the 8th grader has a child (Jupiter) and he wants to find the little girl. I predict that they will find each other or that Joseph will figure out that the baby might have passed away or something in that region. I hope that they can find each other and that they can reunite because that would be a good ending to this great book. One of my favorite parts was when Jack saves Joseph in the icy cold water. This is probably one of my most favorite books so far.

I'm really enjoying Orbiting Jupiter, it's a very very good book! One of my favorite parts of the book is when Joseph all the sudden started acting normal in gym and in school. I liked hearing about gym because I love sports and gym. I can also relate to the ice part because near our town there is a big lake that freezes over and everyone loves ice fishing. There is also a local ice skating rink which is amazing in the winter! :)

So far it's been great, and I hope it stays that way throughout the book the entire book. I hope that it ends up with a happy ending. I am really liking this book so far. I like how Joseph is gradually learning the responsibilities of working on a farm. I think Jupiter and Maddie (the baby and mom) will eventually find Joseph, but things may be messed up by Jacks Family. I also hope we get to learn a bit more about Stone mountain and the trauma Joseph went through. I am also really curious as to why Joseph would go out on the ice and freeze his buns off! So far, this has been a great book!

It's a good book so far and a good story about the family. We really wonder how It will continue. We think that Joseph will meet Jupiter and Maddie. We think that Joseph is a good person but have been treated really bad.

I think Jackie and Joseph will eventually find Jupiter. They will either find some sort of trace of Jupiter, find a picture, locate where she is, and hopefully the two will find Jupiter. If they don't, then the author will probably make a sequel. Overall, I think Jackie and Joseph will eventually find Jupiter.
