iMovie is a very simple app, which allows you edit and create your own movies. Some of the good features are: Creating trailers - Allows you to follow a template to create a professional film trailer. Also the minor details you can add like - Cast members, studio name, credits can be done in a professional style. A disadvantage is that it is quite basic, you cannot do everything you can do in usual editing software like Premier Pro, or SonyVegasPro.

This would be good to use for our interactive project because it is easy to use although basic it isn't bad for making a professional looking video.

Garage Band is a creative app that you can use to make music using a variety of virtual instruments E.g. Piano, Drums, Guitar. An advantage to the app is that, you can create your own individual music for movies,projects, and videos, and not get restricted by copyright laws for using other peoples music. A disadvantage is that it can be tricky to know how to use all that's available on the app as it can be fiddly at first when you use it for the first time. That's what I found from playing around with it.

This would be good to use for our interactive project because it is very creative, and we wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of copyright in our work.

Sprecker Studio is a voice recording app that is easy to use and has a range of features. For example, adding your own songs, or adding sound effects like an applause at the end of your recording. You can also broadcast live and share your content with other people in the world. A advantage is that it shows you how to use each feature which helps newer people learn how to use it. A disadvantage is that you have to sign up in order to share or broudcast your content.

This would be good to use as it has a clear sound and is simple to use without any fuss.

Replay is a simple app that you can use to create and edit videos. The features are that you can add up to 200 photos and videos from your device. There are 27 video styles including effects and transitions. A advantage is that you can add a lot of content to your videos/clips, and use a range of effects to make it look professional and tidy. A disadvantage would be that, you can lose the changes you made, and you could lose your video if you don't remember to save it. 

This would be okay to use but wouldn't be my first choice, due to the issue with saving the video and losing work.

Voice Recorder is a easy app to use, to record your voice and edit it slightly. A advantage is that it is simple to use, you have features like labelling the cassette tape so you know what you recorded instead of the usual "recording 1,2,3 ect" you get from other apps. You can also pick up background noises easily which is a bit of a disadvantage if you're trying to interview thing. But if you're recording a class or a whole room it is a good advantage.

This would be a good app to use as it has clear sound for interviews which makes it seem more professional when making recordings as we tested it in the caffateria to see what we could pick up on.

Trim & Cut is a video editing app that is quite tricky to use unlike the others. As there isn't any idea given to how you use the app which is a big disadvantage to me as it wastes a lot of time trying to work out how to use the app. An advantage is that it is quicker than the other apps however some instructions of how to use it would help the process. It is also very limited to what you can do, hence the name trim and cut.

This would be an okay app to use to trim and cut videos before editing them to make the job easier. But It's not my first choice due to crashing issues and working out how to use the app.
