The TED talk held by Wendy Suzuki discusses the importance of exercising and how it helps boost your memory and mood. She talks about how it can prevent multiple illnesses and has beneficial things that will stick for the rest of your life. She started to record the activity of the hippocampus, the organ that holds memories for a long period of time, and wanted to know what makes us record or not record a memory. She noticed how after doing endless amounts of research she stopped caring about her own health, she considered herself miserable. She started going to the gym and noticed vast differences in her mood and energy. She speaks about how she was able to focus and her mental abilities improved. She started to look into the benefits of exercise for the brain and discovered that she was experiencing all of the good effects it has.

Exercising is important because of 3 things:

it has immediate effects on your brain

it wakes your attention

immediately raise the levels of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine

This TED talk was all about the benefits of exercising, not only physically, but also mentally. Dr. Suzuki explains that exercising can help us stay motivated and focused in our daily life. This can be supported by the fact that many brain cells get produced when we do exercise, and these are the ones that give our brain energy and power to stay motivated and hyped up. The last statement is the fact that exercising makes us feel sure about our health, on the inside and outside of our body. According to Dr. Suzuki, we should exercise 3-4 times a week. In our team, we agree with this ted talk, since the doctor made us all aware of the different effects and processes that our brain goes through after practicing certain activity. Other benefits from exercising would be staying in shape, being happy with our bodies, having a healthier digestive system, etc.

Are we responsible for the serious issues related to the lack of resources in the world?

There are lots of things that we can do with resources, but, over the last years, humans have been using them irresponsibly and this has led us to have many different issues that originated from this.

For example, there is too much trash that came from the resources that humans couldn’t use anymore and that were thrown away later on. This trash has been getting accumulated all over the world and we must think fast before it’s too late. Some other examples of issues generated from this overexploitation are the endangerment of species, lack of resources, and pollution.

With careful planning and creative solutions, we can find many ways to end these problems, although it would take us many years. You can start at home by not using things you don’t need or just recycling!

The increase in human population has brought very serious consequences not only for the environment but also for us because we are not only running out of non-renewable resources on earth, although despite this we are advancing as a civilization which is something equally important but if we continue to reproduce like rabbits and do nothing to stop it we may end up becoming extinct among us or basically I say that we will not die for lack of resources or lack of space I say that as there will be lack of the last thing I said wars will be normal in our future, so personally I feel that countries should do what others for example china, couples can only have one child and only if they can keep it and give it a good quality of life, but despite all this I feel that we should continue having children because the truth is something very beautiful not easy but beautiful if it is but anyway we must lower the number of births per year for the good of all (181 words)

There are many things that can be done to improve city life, starting from the environment. One of the main problems about living in cities is how dirty they can be, implementing more parks and ways to recollect garbage in an efficient manner can make living in one way less dangerous and clean. Another way we can improve is by society, educating people on how to be good citizens in these conditions, as well as education in general. Educated people are usually the ones who start businesses and companies which give more jobs. Finally, a very important thing for advancement is order. There are many flaws about the pavement, lights and general build of streets which cause a lot of tension and problems in cities. It’s essential to fix and create a safer environment for people to advance in other aspects as well.

It is also believed that in case of overpopulation there will not be enough resources for all people, which means that there will not be jobs, food, housing among other things for all people. Pollution would also be a big problem because if there is already a problem with this issue with overpopulation, waste would increase since with more population comes more waste and more carbon dioxide emissions that damage the atmosphere and air quality.
