Global eateries and bars cluster near grand Macedonia Square and its monuments. It is located in her hometown Skopje, in North Macedonia, where she lived from 1910 to 1928.The memorial house was built on the popular Macedonia Street in the Centar municipality, on the very location of the once Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, where Mother Teresa was baptized. It lies just east of the Ristiḱ Palace and the Macedonia Square.

It was built as part of the larger Skopje 2014 project, with an estimated construction cost of €2.5 million. The bridge includes 29 sculptures, with 14 at each side and one in the centre.

At a time it was the most beautiful train station on the Balkans, until it was demolished by the earthquake in 1963.  Left ruined, but preserved to keep memories of the past. Today museum of the city of Skopje.
