Summarize what you learned in this lesson! by Taylor Ramos

Part 1: Write a 3 sentence explanation paraphrasing or summarizing how you made your flipgrid to music. Using a recollection of relevant information from your experiences in this lesson write about the changes in speed and direction while manipulating an object, and choreographing it to music.
Part 2: Take a time trial of yourself doing either the 3-3-3 Stack or the 3-6-3 Stack 3 times and post what those times are.

I tried to use the music to keep a steady tempo to stack my cups at. I enjoyed watching the clips of professional cup stackers. I see how it cold motivate young students before doing this Physical Education activity. After trying the 3-3-3 stack 3 times my times came out to: 20 seconds, 17 seconds and 17 seconds.

Watching the video helped me a lot with my hand movements. At first it was hard doing it and in was super slow but with practice I started to get used of it. It was really cool to see that there are professionals that actually do this as a sport.

After watching the video, I can say that it was very challenging being able to dominate speed and direction but after a few tries I was able to get it down. I was amazed of how correlated and easy the professionals made it seem to be. This activity can definitely help students manipulate objects through speed and direction while having fun.
-Iran

Making the FlipGrid was very fun but also challenging because one mistake would put you off-beat to the music. It was a challenge at first, but with more and more practice it got easier. This would be a really fun activity for kids, I loved cup stacking as a kid and the videos you included of the pro cup-stackers made it really exciting!

First I checked to see if there was a way to have the flipgrid play the music. After that did not work I used my phone to play the music while I recorded with my laptop. it was a little difficult trying to time the start of the music just right to the start of the flipgrid. The times for my 3-3-3 trial were 13.98 seconds, 13.62 seconds, and 15.83 seconds.

Before getting to this slide I was having trouble even loading FlipGrid. It becomes a challenging task but can be fun if this is a resources commonly used in your classroom. I attempted the 3-3-3 stack twice and my first score was 18 seconds and my other one was 16.20 sec.

At first I thought that the activity would be challenging, but it turned out more fun than difficult. The long cups I used were a bit difficult to set up but easily slides into each other as the tower came down. It’s a very satisfying game as entire towers just disappears into a cup at the end. Doing the 3-6-3 stack, my first time was 15 seconds, second was 14, then third time 12 seconds.

I did the 3-3-3 cup stack and enjoyed it. I did not use music in my video since I was having a hard time catching up to a good enough speed. Overall, the activity of cup stacking was fun and I was able to do it one time for 9 seconds. I also tried doing the 3-6-3 stack, but it was super challenging since my stack of 6 cups kept getting stuck. Overall, it was something very fun to do.

At first I was just trying to go fast, but while I was going fast I realized the music was going much slower. Then I went slower which matched the music. When i did the 3-3-3 stack I got 12 seconds.
