She was wearing a pirate hat and an eye patch, and my pet parrot was on the table next to her.  I started giggling when she got to the part about Big Knickers Bay, and she got the giggles, and then my parrot started laughing!!  Cracks me up every time!

This book was the first memory I have of my older sister (6 years older) reading to me. She would read me this book EVERY day. I would recite it back, she assumed I had learned to read, but in actuality when she tried to get me to read something else she realized I had memorized Frog and Toad! :)
