Did you know World Book Online has resources for teachers too? At the bottom of Kids(k-4), Student(5-8) and Advanced(HS) you will find a For Educators Tab, from here you can select Educator Tools.  We have added tons of amazing tools here. World Book Student contains over 40,000 encyclopedia aritcles, 10,000 biographies, plus thousands of additional articles, learning resources, and research tools including How to do 21st Century research.  We have also upgraded the article features. Be sure to click on Related Information from within an article to see additional resources such as pictures, videos, full text magazine articles and special reports. I love the Jazz article so you can hear the different types of jazz music.

World Book Advanced is a powerful reference tool that includes full encyclopedic and multimedia databases supplemented with online books, primary sources, website links, back in time articles, special reports and more.

Advanced has Primary Source documents and Teaching with Primary Source documents. In an article in Advanced, click on Related Information to find Primary Source Documents. Do you know how we acquired Alaska? How did we pay for it? Look under Purchase in the contents tab of the article to find our method of payment.

You can find Teaching with Documents under Educator Resources in your Research and Resources navigation bar in Advanced.  One of my favorites, is the handwritten edits to FDR's speech A Date Which Will Live in Infamy. I love seeing his notes and changes.
