A pic of the city: Summer Palace is one of many royal gardens built in the Qing dynasty. It represents a combination of history and beauty, which I think is an epitome of Beijing in a sense. During the pandemic, I visited here many times as it serves as an escape from reality and also a safe space for me to walk around and chat with others.
