How might you use the SAMR model in your own practice?

First, teachers need to try to integrate the curriculum with life. This redefinition helps students understand the course content. Second, teachers should replace examples from life with more specialized academic concepts. Students should have the opportunity to reinforce the learning content in class through discussion or other forms. Finally I think it is important to provide students with a variety of options. For example, students have the opportunity to choose to use technology to complete exercises.

How might you apply the TPACK model when planning a unit of work?

In the 21st century, technology is an essential way for us to access information every day. As teachers, we can integrate technology into the content and pedagogy of our classrooms. At the same time, the TPACK model can provide students with more varied and interesting options. We can choose to use technology to complete exit tickets for a single class session. They can also be used in the middle of the class for activity sessions.

How do you integrate technology in the math classroom in order to promote and enhance learning?

First of all I think many of the learning sites are full of fun. The healthy competition among students also promotes understanding of the class content. This gives students the opportunity to learn about technology while accomplishing class objectives. For example, Quizlet, Kahoot has a lot of established unit templates. These group or individual scores and rankings for completing topics allow students to be motivated to win. At the same time, but when students are focused on competing with their peers, their attention is focused on the technology and fewer behavioral problems occur.

When would you use technology in your practice and when would you not?

I think it is possible to use technology at any time to complete a course at a certain stage. For example, students can use technology to complete a poll indicating that they are more inclined to a certain state in their lives (integrating course content with their lives). In the middle of the class, students can use technology to complete more challenging activities. Near the end of the course, students can complete exit polls by using technology. This facilitates the teacher to better tally the students' mastery of the class content. Finally, technology can also be used to complete assignments. I think My Open Math has a lot of exercises that help students learn. Also, the ACT now requires the use of technology at the same time. This means that students must be familiar with how to use technology such as Desmos.
