         <description><![CDATA[<div>A steam cycle power plant is operated using the Rankine cycle. Water enters a boiler where it is heated to create steam. The steam is then sent through a steam turbine that rotates the shaft of a generator to create electricity. The steam exits the turbine into a condenser, which converts the steam back into saturated water. The saturated water is then pumped back into the boiler to repeat the process. So in this project we replaced the boiler with incinerator to produced electricity to generate pump.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) <strong>Efficiency</strong> - values in efficiency between calculated and real values may differ because not entirely all of the steam will enter the turbine, instead some will go out in the open.<br>2) <strong>Design</strong> - because of mini power plant design, building a conveyor in the plant may not be possible. The power plant need extra men power to be monitored consistently to remove the ashes stacked in the pollution control unit (PCU).<br>3) <strong>Fuel (waste products)</strong> - The number of waste products that can fill the plant is approximately 2 metric tons (2000kg), that equals to 6 hours of power produced. Therefore, a consistent men power is needed to find waste products to fuel the power plant every 6 hours.<br>4) <strong>Location</strong> - However, the location is strategic enough to find waste products to fuel the power plant because due to the fact that beach area is close to rural areas.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>From this project, we were able to design a mini power plant suited for extracting brackish water from the beach as the prawns need brackish water for their larval stage. The electricity needed to extract brackish water was obtained from the mini power plant which uses a Rankine cycle, except that the boiler was replaced by incinerator as the mean to generate steam for the power plant. The incinerator uses garbage or waste products as fuel (easy to obtain due to rural area locations). The other components such as pump, turbine and compressor were maintained from Rankine process and the specifications for the components were obtained from real life sample. Therefore, we were able to do the  analysis and calculate the work and efficiency produced by the mini power plant (not considering some real-life aspects such as steam loss to the surroundings).</div>]]></description>
