I met a group of eight students, seven girls and one boy.
I came in the classroom after them.  The teacher greeted them and introduced me. I said 'hello' and told them that I was going to share some classes with them.
They sat at their places and the teacher asked the students to open their workbook to correct some homework. Half of the class had done it.
The class dealt with a revision  with simple past tense.
The students worked in silence, maybe because I was there.

The students talked to me a bit more before the class started.
I could see that not all of them participate in class. The boy gets distracted easily and one of the girls is too shy to speak at least a simple sentence. They have different levels of knowledge and that is because they come from different schools.
In this class the topic was clothes. The teacher provided the students with different  materials to make clothes. In fact, they have to finish them. After twenty minutes, each student showed their own productions.
Finally, the students put on some clothes and organized a fashion parade. They walked along the classroom in pairs and described what they were wearing.

However I was nervous and anxious for my first class with these kids.
The teaching point was the modal verb 'should' withing a healthy lifestyle context.
By the end of the lesson I felt great! everything went out quite well. The students looked interested and collaborative.
Now... let's see what happens tomorrow.

The class flowed smoothly with different activities coping with all the skills. One of the tasks the students had to do was to put into practice the vocabulary related to illnesess and symptoms in a role play. They were really excited when they saw real doctor's equipment.!
I had a sense of fulfillment.

Today's content was the modal verb 'must' to explain sports' rules.
The students were a bit more relaxed with me and got more distracted and talked among themselves.
The class went on well except for timing. The lesson started later because the students came back later from their break.
The successful part of the class was how interested they were in sports. All of them participated, even the shiest ones.
