         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>I chose this skill because</strong> this is affecting my life as at times, I really need to get my work done or study for tests but I don't feel like to do it.<br><br><strong>By incorporating this skill I hope to<br></strong>&nbsp;get my things done faster and more focused as I will be motivated to do it.<strong><br><br>Step One:</strong> take a walk outside as Thomas Frank said in this video that it tells his brain not to do because he has a lot of work and it will waste his time which is similar to my brain as well as I feel that it would waste my time. However, later on, he said that it will help me to raise my motivation levels. Therefore, I need to try this step.<br><br><strong>Step Two</strong>: committing on a single task as if I find a task difficult, I would jump to another task which is easy but if I decide to go in one direction then I would make progress or else I would just be jumping around and would not be able to finish the task. I could do this by writing on a piece of a paper that what do I need to do.<br><br><strong>Step Three: </strong>to clear my work space<br>as my study area is really messy which will distract me as well and whatever task i have decided on, I am going to work on that task effectively.<br><br><strong>Step Four:</strong> start from the scratch and I can always come back and fix it ("the blank page is your enemy") as when i don't know what to write for my essay, I stare at a blank page and hoping I would get to know what to write instead, I just waste my time in it.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>I chose this skill because this is </strong>affecting my studies as I am always tired in life even though, I took a good hour of nap, it will still make me tired after getting up.<br><br><strong>By incorporating this skill I hope to</strong> be more active in terms of my studies and in health which will lead this to be able to focus on my studies more.<br><br><strong>Step One: </strong>going out for 20 minute walk during sun exposure as Thomas Frank said that our bodies were designed to move.<br><br><strong>Step Two:</strong> drink more water as I am a person who is not even close to 8 glasses per day.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>I chose this skill because this</strong> affects me while studying as I get distracted easily whether from the people around me or my phone.<br><br><strong>By incorporating this skill I hope to</strong> be able to focus on studying as there will be less distraction around me which will lead me to get better grades.<br><br><strong>Step One:</strong> turn off my phone while studying as I get distracted when my phone is near me as I always check my phone if someone texted me or not.<br><br><strong>Step Two:</strong> sit in a place where there's quiet place (maybe go to clubhouse for a quiet environment) as at my house there are a lot of noises whether it is coming from the kitchen or the TV.<br><br><strong>Step Three:</strong> study in one place and not on the bed as it would tell my brain that it is time to sleep and it will make me more comfortable. However, if I study in one place it will tell my brain that this is the studying area.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
