In this image, Bankside London is shown as an area of factories, there was no knowledge of the arts. One of the goals of placing a modern arts museum here, was to educate and expand in this community. Eventually, the Tate Modern became one of the top art museums in the country.

In 2003, Olafur Eliasson created the weather project, located in the Turbine hall. From afar, the crowd saw a glowing sun and misty red surrounding them. As they walked closer towards the sun the people saw the mechanics that really made up this exhibit. They saw the circular screen, powered by 200 yellow mono frequency lamps, and the nozzles that the fog came from. The goal was that things aren’t always as they seem.

And even though it wasn’t the
typical art you see in a museum, Tania Brugueras thought acting it out was more effective.
