Based on the texts given, both are giving complimentary reasons on the benefits of surveillance cameras.

Both texts pointed out the importance of the usage of CCTVs. The first text focuses on CCTVs in open areas as the CCTVs is ubiquitously use in public areas to prevent crimes from happening on the street (No reason to fear them if you are not doing anything wrong). Without a doubt, both text support this notion and give complementary reasons for the importance of surveillance cameras.

Both texts depict the upsides of surveillance cameras towards the public and also crime detection. The first text highlights that surveillance cameras are clearly observable in public areas. People think that it should be kept running continuously as it is for the benefit of the public safety. The second text discusses about the aim of surveillance cameras is to safeguard the public by demoralizing criminal activity but not to invade people's privacy. It also stresses that alertness of possible crimes or misfortunes can be increased by safety investigations before they occur.

Most people are aware that security camera is (cameras are) all around us especially in public spaces. Undoubtedly, both texts complement each other to support this notion on the ways safety is provided through this mean.

Both of the text expresses that closed-circuit television (CCTV) prevents civilians in (from) becoming victims of crime. The first text argues that people are aware that surveillance is inevitable and continuously support it in the name of safety. Likewise, the second text points out that this mode aim to raise awareness of these wrongdoings and defend the public by decreasing those who are brazen enough to commit it. (deterrence)

The arguments offered in the both text are valid and reasonable. I have to say that in the first text, the point raised is true as you rarely ever see people rant about being watched as they understand the benefits it brings. Moreover, a sign which shows that surveillance camera around can cause criminal to be afraid of committing anything illegal which correlates to the points in the second text. Furthermore, experts can use the footage of crime captured to do research to maintain the serenity of our daily life by decreasing acts that violate the law.

All things considered, I believe that the application of this system is truly advantageous although there are slight setbacks. It is crucial to provide a safe living space for citizens to live in so that daily activities wont be affected by such atrocities which can halt economic and productive contributions to society. If everyone worked together to make sure that the introduction of this is smooth, we will be able to enjoy the pros that this will bring to us.

(d

CCTV cameras have a significant role in contemporary security and can be found in almost every public location. Although there is still controversy on this matter, these two texts represent complementary, optimistic viewpoints.

Both texts present reasons for supporting for the maintaining widespread surveillance. The first text suggests that the visibility of cameras acts as a deterrent, warning offenders that their acts will be filmed. The presence of CCTV cameras is comforting rather than threatening to law-abiding citizens. Moreover, the second text claims that cameras primarily serve to discourage crime by producing evidence for prosecution and alerting authorities to suspicious situations, enabling proactive approach to prevent criminal activity.

The arguments made in both texts are interesting. In my opinion, the most significant component of preventing crime is the strength of security analytics, as mentioned in text two. This capability enables law enforcement to predict and prevent crimes, shifting the focus from relying solely on post-incident punishment to proactive prevention. Furthermore, photographic and video evidence can be used to analyse and create a statistical overview of various types of crimes, leading to the development of effective preventative strategies. Although, the argument presented in the first text is that the mere existence of CCTV cameras can deter potential terrorists from taking action. However, I believe this is effective for only a minority. A cautious and premeditated wrongdoer can potentially avoid being captured on camera.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that some parts require thorough examination by the public, particularly in the case of security analytics. I also think that the sense of protection they offer justifies a trade-off in terms of a certain level of personal privacy.

(275 words)

If you walk through any public space in any city, chances are that you will spot at least one surveillance camera. The issue is controversial; however, these two texts provide complimentary positive views.

Both texts offer reasons why we should not only tolerate but also welcome these cameras. The first text maintains that because everyone can see the cameras, they know that any misdeeds they commit will be recorded on film. It also adds that this is comforting rather than threatening for most law-abiding citizens. The second text maintains that cameras are there to prevent crime and they accomplish this by providing evidence that can lead to prosecution, as well as flagging up suspicious situations so that police officers can act before a crime is even committed.

While the points in both texts are valid, I feel that the power of security analytics mentioned in text 2 is the most significant factor in crime prevention. This is because it can predict and give law enforcement a chance to prevent crimes rather than just punishing the perpetrators. However, while most people agree that cameras discourage planned crimes like vandalism and theft, as suggested in text 1, critics have raised the point that cameras have little effect on crimes that are committed on impulse. What is more, the prediction of crimes come with a catch: who sets the parameters of what is suspicious, and what happens if someone gets it wrong?

Though I believe there are clearly factors that need close public scrutiny when it comes to surveillance cameras especially regarding security analytics, I would agree that the sense of protection they they offer is would agree that the sense of protection they offer is well worth some sacrifice of privacy in public places.
