I want to learn more about how the coaching stem could be implemented into my school. I also learned that we need to focus more on the "bright spots" in our lives and even in our world. Our world is just so focused on the negative things happening and that effects our lives and the other around me. I have some employees that I am trying to help them find the bright spot in their lives and at work. In the new year, I really want to focus on the building more bright spots and helping people getting away from those negative spots in our building. This class has taught me how reflect more about school, work, and life. I loved all of the practical things to use as a mentor and as a teacher with students even. The coaching stems are really helpful because sometimes you don't know how to start a conversation or how to offer a suggestion to a mentee. The email suggestion was great too. I gave me suggestions on the proper language to use when starting conversations with parents and other staff members.  It encouraged me to send out more positive emails to parents. I will also try to send out little positive emails to my coworkers as well rather than just a passing comment in the hallway. 
  Looking for the bright spots is soooooo important. When we focus on the bright spots, we're more positive. When you're positive, it tends to spread to those around you. If we all took the time to focus on the positives rather than the negatives, our schools (even the world) could become a better place to be.
