1) The "Lost Boys" fled Sudan because they had to escape their countries bloody civil war in 1983, that was caused by different beliefs and oil areas. 
2) Some reasons that the "Lost Boys" could not stay in Ethiopia were because the government had became unstable and was falling apart, therefore making the boys flee again. 
3) The refugee camp offered the boys the basic survival needs, such as, donated clothing, basic education, safety/security, food, and etc. 
4) Some new things that the "Lost Boys" experienced on their journey to the United States was being able to go on an airplane, new foods (snacks, etc.), and being able to see/meet new people (at the airport, the streets, etc.).
