I learned about the horrible living conditions that the slaves had to face and how marriages and families weren't even acknowledged.

The most important thing that I learned from this Hyperdoc was how horrible slavery really was. I had known about the key concepts, Africans were slaves and worked on white farms and were beat sometimes. But I learned about how they were beaten and injured and when they tried to escape they were hunted.
