He found people suffering, with no home or money to their name. He says this in defense of his use of drugs for muscles. This may seem like a negative, however this shows that people like Daniel are willing to do anything to achieve their American Dream. Daniel wants people to improve themselves and their image, and encourages using any means necessary. The author Samuel J. Abrams sent out a survey to 2,411 Americans about their attitudes toward America. The results he got were mostly positive, in that 85 percent of people stated that “to have freedom of choice in how to live” is extremely important to their ways of life. Without that freedom of choice, many cultures and ideas would die out fast in America. Another result shows that 82 percent of Americans stated their vast optimism in their futures in the US.
