The construction of such housing is made similarly in the Levittown model of mass production in order to construct the buildings quickly and efficiently with structures that are all similar in design (Levittown Article). Included with the mass production of housing is the advancement of transportation as automobiles were/are mass produced and sold in markets all similar to each other. Inside the mass-produced housing appliances are generally the same stainless steel that is in almost every house, just as in the 1950's houses had appliances that were also mass produced but were in the style of differing colors (1950s Bubble Map). Main difference indoors is the trend to stray away from bright colors as they did in the 50's, instead going to a more modern and sleek look. This is in order to beautify the property it's on to keep the value of the land from detonating as time goes on and buildings face the wear and tear of time, which is the same reason houses built in Levittown had saplings planted as well (Levittown Article). Not only around houses are trees and greenery being planted (or were planted) but even around shopping centers, and are present in all the parks around the city. By having a sheriff station and fire department very close by in Santa Clarita, it provides a bubble of safety and comfort for families knowing there children are safe. Additionally it is not uncommon to see dozens and dozens of children walk home from there schools which also provides evidence that there is not much to fear or worry about within a suburb. Paved Streets, and accompanying sewer lines were present in these Levittown neighborhoods, which is very similar to present day Santa Clarita (Levittown Article). The Santa Clarita Suburb streets are very wide, without any potholes or major cracks in order to keep the beautiful appearance of the city intact. These streets are also curved and sometimes decorated with an abundance of greedy, or decorated streetlamp especially during the holiday season. With that being said Santa Clarita was originally created on top of a farming region, which specifically harvested onions, and while the city has gone through developments over the years that have caused it to stray away from its original farming roots, there are still regions within the Suburb that dedicated itself to farming, just like Nancy's Farms which seasonally has produce, and other holiday needs such as pumpkins or even Christmas Trees. The connivence of having all so close to where people live makes it easier to purchase goods for their families, or get a quick bite to eat. With fast food, and grocery stores both locations sell ready to eat food, or food that takes minimal effort required to prepare. Just as the 1950's saw a increase in television dinners that were already put together (1950's bubble map), a modern suburb such as Santa Clarita has fast food from Chick-Fil-A to Mc'donalds to satisfy any cravings, but while still giving the people enough flexibility to watch entertainment while they eat.
