The charge of a noncriminal homicide is not an appropriate enough of a charge. This can be seen because a human killing another in this way is "excusable" and "justifiable" meaning that the person who's died death is to the court. The charge of a criminal homicide is appropriate because they committed such a significant and fatal act and deserve to be punished for it.

The charge of murder is appropriate because any intent to cause harm should not be tolerated in our society. Keeping this person alive and in prison is not enough to justify for the lives of people who died by his/her hands.

The charge of first-degree murder is not an appropriate charge because it seems that there is no difference between first-degree murder and criminal homicide. Since if something was done intentionally, as the definition of a criminal homicide says, first-degree murder is similar. A person would have had to thought of something premeditated with regular murder in the first place. Both have the same traits, making them difficult to differentiate.
