INTRODUCTION

Marine biology , A Seal is a Marine Mammal . There are many different types of Seals but i chose this one . Seals are found in the Anarctic , This is only Fur Seals. Seals only spend about ten percent of their live out of water, crazy . This may not seem true , but seals are highly intelligent.

Everybody should know that seals are mammals but just in case you didn’t , there’s a fun fact. Seals can sleep underwater , it seems impossible to me but it is true.After all they can spend months in the sea. Most seals can stay underwater for 2 HOURS!! They do this by slowing their heartbeat to preserve oxygen.

Did you know that seals can communicate with each other? They can use clicking noises and trilling noises, different noises vary from unique functions. A mother can create an amazing bond with her pup by calling out to it. They can also defend their territory by calling out aggressive sounds. Certain species are endangered in 2017 .

SEA CHANGE .Did you know we only have 2450 seals left in this world !! Seals are one of many animals that are endangered in America. Seals are slowly dying , it is very horrible because most people adore seals. Even though most seals live until they are 20 years old , they are slowly dying with pollution in the sea. People may think that seals don’t do anything for but they do, they track climate change !

SEAL SLAUGHTER !!!!!!!!

Seals get slaughtered every day . People blame seals for overfishing , and then seals get skinned alive! THAT IS NOT RIGHT !!! This is all because of the canadian government they do not care about our seals !! If you don’t like seals getting axed to death , then try to stop this !! This year seal hunting in Canada started 2 WEEKS EARLY!!!! Why do they want to kill seals ? Well we don’t know that yet , but 2 years ago they killed 350,000 seals . It is horrible.

SEAL POWERS !!

Seals whiskers are almost like pure magic !! Seals don’t need their eyes to search for prey , you probably didn’t know that right . It’s so amazing . Scientist are considering using seal whiskers for underwater technologies. People can kill seals everyday but they don’t know that seals are apart of our everyday lives from being cute and fluffy to checking climate change for us . SEALS ARE AMAZING !!
