He will come and blow CoGS out of the water - BUT we have to contend for it - want it - partner with him.

He WON'T just do it!

Part 1

I had three separate nights when I dreamt about people (church) being assigned different shapes with different colours.  This was discouraging and pointless in that nothing then happened as a result.

As I woke after the 3rd dream, I saw (eyes closed) a vision of the same shapes, appearing one at a time in different parts of the space but each one was pure white and radiant.  The word ‘Resonance’ came to me very clearly.

Different colours each have their own electromagnetic frequency.  Systems resonate when the frequencies match.  When all the shapes are white they resonate with each other.  Like an orchestra when all the instruments are correctly tuned.  Unity and resonance are the same.  We, church members need to be in tune and resonate together as the Holy Spirit conducts us.

To resonate together means we no longer see ourselves as individuals with our own agenda. We are as ‘one’ and seek the common good.  The radiant white represents holiness and being ‘in tune’ with God (and each other), in other words in Unity.

Part 2

I had a Vision of a Plant with a single bright red flower in a pot (this vision seems to relate to individuals in the church).  I then saw very fine beams of light appear, falling on and around the plant.  The light beams then began to oscillate so you could see rapid waves of energy traveling downwards.  The red flower was enveloped in white light and gradually the flower was lost in a pink cloud, gradually changing to brilliant white.  When the light and the cloud disappeared the now white flower shone with its own light.

I think the redness of the flower is about individual pain and suffering.  The vision seems to show how the Holy Spirit can bring transformation and healing to individuals (us) so we are healed and can resonate with one another and work together in Unity.

Hope is what we hold onto and it was found at the bottom of the box after everything was removed

He is saying, ‘Taste and see that the Lord is good’.

This event will be an opportunity to meet with God and be healed, restored and blessed.

We need to remember that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the FEAST of Pentecost.

I had two visions yesterday involving food; the first was of a loaf of bread or a cake who’s shape, texture and colour changed as I watched it.  The second was of a range of food dishes and then a person offered me food but I couldn’t eat as my body was asleep. I then as I woke up and the word ‘Banquet’ came to me very clearly.

I think many of us in our church are not able to eat the spiritual food that God offers because we are tired and asleep to the things of the Spirit.  Therefore come along if you can at 10.00am and hopefully be ready to wake up and enjoy a spiritual feast!  

By the way, we’ll also spend time worshiping, listening, sharing and praying.

Matthew 11:28-30:

²⁸ “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The captain looked at the passengers who were talking and laughing together. Then he raised his eyes to the sail above and watched the sails gently moving back and forth in the breeze. The captain smiled and sat down and I heard the words “ It is good “.

There was still no visible crew.

I had this picture a week ago but it seemed incomplete to me, so I waited, but the picture remained the same.

No visible crew was obviously that we have no volunteers but I was unsure of the rest.

Then whilst reading on the Padlet board, I saw the words “ Be still and know that I am God” and it became clearer.

The passengers I didn’t recognise were from the community. The sense of unity was among the people of the community and members of our church who visit the Bus Stop Cafe. I have always pictured the Holy Spirit as wind so the sails fluttering was the Holy Spirit above. The captain was pleased with what he saw.

He sat down, to be still and wait upon God.

I have never visited the Bus Stop Cafe. I believe the picture to be from God, but the interpretation is mine. Others may interpret it differently.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

"Be still and know that I am God"

The whole of Psalm 37 spoke to me about trusting in God. He knows what he's doing.

Trust in the Lord and do good;
    dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
⁴ Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

⁵ Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
⁶ He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.

⁷ Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Come set Your rule and reign
In our hearts again
Increase in us we pray
Unveil why we're made
Come set our hearts ablaze with hope
Like wildfire in our very souls
Holy Spirit, come invade us now
We are Your Church
And we need Your power
In us

Psalm 32

When I kept silent,
    my bones wasted away
    through my groaning all day long.
⁴ For day and night
    your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
    as in the heat of summer.^[b]

⁵ Then I acknowledged my sin to you
    and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
    my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave
    the guilt of my sin.

We need to seek God for the order to do things in. And then, even as a whole body we are useless without the breath of God. We need the Holy Spirit to be part of God's army.

People are broken and spiritually dead and we need to progress slowly in the right order.

John 14

Only He knows the way, we need to look to Him.

But I will bring Israel back to their own pasture,
    and they will graze on Carmel and Bashan;
their appetite will be satisfied
    on the hills of Ephraim and Gilead.
²⁰ In those days, at that time,”
    declares the Lord,
“search will be made for Israel’s guilt,
    but there will be none,
and for the sins of Judah,
    but none will be found,
    for I will forgive the remnant I spare.

²¹ “Attack the land of Merathaim
    and those who live in Pekod.
Pursue, kill and completely destroy^[a] them,”
declares the Lord.
    “Do everything I have commanded you.

To add the next daisy the one before has to suffer

And each time another is added the one before must pay a price

Sometimes you have to discard one because we've broken it or because we think that one doesn't look as good

To grow as a church we need to be prepared to join Jesus in his suffering so that we can attach the next follower for Jesus

Are you tired?’ [asks Jesus.] ‘Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.’

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

His will be done

Come into His presence knowing that we are forgiven, made clean. Be continually thankful for each new day, a clean page before us. Choose carefully what we fill our day with.

Show an amazingly unusual and unexplainable love for one another so that the whole of Crookhorn will see and know that we are disciples of the living God.

Be strong and courageous for whatever lies ahead. Supporting each other through the battle that is surely coming. But know this......we are on the winning side. The battle was won on the cross. Hallelujah!

When Earth's last picture is painted and the tubes are twisted and dried,
When the oldest colours have faded, and the youngest critic has died,
We shall rest, and, faith, we shall need it -- lie down for an aeon or two,
Till the Master of All Good Workmen shall put us to work anew.

And those that were good shall be happy; they shall sit in a golden chair;
They shall splash at a ten-league canvas with brushes of comets' hair.
They shall find real saints to draw from -- Magdalene, Peter, and Paul;
They shall work for an age at a sitting and never be tired at all!

And only The Master shall praise us, and only The Master shall blame;
