Once the app is installed, students can visit various stream field sites and download via Bluetooth to their device. The field sites will have stream gauges and rain gauges. Once the data is obtained via Bluetooth to their phones, it can be displayed and shared in the app. The data can also be shared and used on the desktop app. Student will be able to see all other students data. The app will basically give the students the chance to do what professionals in the field do to collect data from environmental sensors. The app has the functionality to make graphs on the phone screen so data can immediately be visualized. Students can visit the sites several times during the year and the app will keep track of data on different dates for comparisons. The data collected on the app can also be added to other platforms like GIS. :)
