I discovered that there are some new HTML/Textbox updates. There's a new button for Math teachers to use when entering equations. I also learned that the table option does have a bug, but the ways around that bug allows me to practice my new HTML coding skills from my Masters program. :)
Tables always come in handy for visual aids when working with my special needs students. Also, this semester in Science, we focus more on Math, so I can use the equation tool if needed.

I saw that there is a bug in the HTML editor for adding tables. There are two ways around it. For me, the easier way appeared to be creating a table in word and copy and pasting it into the HTML Editor. In order to make sure it copies correctly, be sure to paste it with the formatting if prompted. I also learned you can now create equations without just seeing the sigma sign. It allows you to view the equation you created.

Since we are working on two way tables in math for the next unit, this will be useful for creating a class discussion about a two way table on eClass. It will allow for students to discuss the two way table, and for me to create an example on eClass for them to review as an example before the assessment.

I learned that discussions can also be created for specific groups. I think this will be beneficial because students have the opportunity to continue group work outside of class, and the discussions do not have to be full class discussions. This will be beneficial for constructed response practice for math. We are working on writing the best answers we can, and this can give students the opportunity to give each other quick and easy feedback.
