         <description><![CDATA[<div>Christopher Reeve is an actor who played superman. In 1995, he broke his neck in a riding accident in Virginia. He broke his neck and was paralyzed. He fractured his atlas, axis, and his spinal cord. By fracturing his atlas and axis, it caused severe impairment of breathing and quadriplegia.
