I can use the techniques which I feel the students will relate to the most. For example, to explain changes in states of matter in science a physical demonstration via a video would be helpful. In order to assess the students the students can conduct experiments (ice melting/ heating water) to observe and record their observations.

The formats discussed today are clear elements in which any particular lesson has been divided. So adapting any teaching strategy to the template will require breaking down the strategy into these elements.

Techniques like entry ticket / exit slips are useful in almost all teaching pedagogies - LEAR, PBL, Inquiry based, etc

With the formats learnt today and earlier, i would use the following strategies: -

1) pre assessment tool: - to know the leaners knowledge of the topic and accordingly plan lesson to their needs or level of understanding

2) Differentiated learning: -Provide multiple means of representation like by using a mix of visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile learning experiences to engage students and reinforce the learnt knowledge like the UDL approach

3) Student led:- where the learners have the autonomy to select the process of learning by providing options of projects, assignments, and assessments that allows them to showcase their strengths and interests while still meeting learning objectives.

4) Formative assessment approach where the learners progress and understanding are assessed.

5) Feedback: - providing timely feedback helps in understanding their progress, performance, and areas for improvement

some of the other means would be scaffolding, reflecting, revising.

6) we can use entry and the exit ticket as the means to adapt lesson plan.
