III) The artist used the element of art, texture, to create an illusion of flowery hands. The artist also used the principle of design, pattern, to create a rhythmic sense in the photo.

IV) I think the artist was trying to combine both winter and spring and represent spring picking up the snow and changing the seasons. 

V) I think this photo is really cool and the artist's idea was well thought out. I would not display this in my house because it is not really a powerful piece.
