I am certified to teach Pre-K to Fourth in the state of Pennsylvania. I am currently a Second Grade Teacher at Amanda E Stout Elementary in the Reading School District. I was a long term substitute for the same school and classroom in 2015. Also, I completed my student teaching at AES in a third grade classroom. In the past, I have worked for the Migrant Education Program in Reading,PA. I've taught for Penn State's STEM summer program. My family and fiancé have encouraged me to work towards this dream of mine. Reading is a major focus in the school I currently work for. I continuously strive to be the best teacher I can for my students. My students motivate me every day. I want to grow and obtain more knowledge about the process of becoming a reader. I also want to know more about the benefits of having strong reading skills. I would like to learn about ways to increase my student's reading capabilities. While at the gym, I will practice my boxing skills. I also train for obstacle courses. I am a coach for Girls on the Run at my school. 

I am very creative. I enjoy painting, sketching, and creating any craft that appeals to me. 

I enjoy reading. My favorite books involve old western themes. However, I have become interested in books with a focus on empowering oneself and overcoming hard times. 

Also, I enjoy learning about the Solar System and sea turtles. 

I am a car enthusiast.
