As we are about to go through the next journey of our lives as a student, we were given a chance to learn different things and gain information about our future workplaces and experiences that we may encounter ,through our Work Immersion. Due to the pandemic, we were not able to go to the actual workplace , and instead it was held virtually. The first week of our Work Immersion includes the General Orientation, A webinar about Interpersonal and Interview skills , and making of cover letter and resume. Since it was held virtually , and it is also our first time to have an online Work Immersion. I was pretty amazed because the first week of our Work Immersion was completely fine and I can say that it was really well-planned. I've learned a lot also , for instance , the major standards and measures in honing interpersonal and interview skills, the do's and dont's in making a resume and cover letter , and the proper guidelines before , during , and after the interview. The information and knowledge that I've acquired from the first week of the Work Immersion was helpful because it gave me the idea on what to do  when I apply for a job. On the second week of our Work Immersion , we were tasked to make a self-pitch script. The self-pitch script is all about ourselves and our skills and experiences which could convince the company that we are applying , to hire us. We also made a job application pitch video. I had a lot of fun making the video because I felt like I was really applying for a job. We also had a webinar about Ethics, Professionalism, and Social Well-being. I've learned that ethics is very important when it comes to our workplaces because it is an integral factor in fostering productivity and teamwork among our employees. Professionalism is also it's one of the biggest factor in our level of success and an outward display of our attitude towards our job and our company. And lastly , being mentally ill can affect our job and our relationship to our colleagues. The third week of our Work Immersion includes the opening ceremony of the specialization webinar series and the strand breakout session where we get to meet difference speakers and we were able to hear their stories and experiences in their fields. On this week of the Work Immersion , I've learned a lot from the speakers.  One of the notable quotes that I've remembered from the speakers was "live our life with Integrity". It was a quote shared by Mr. Jemuel Garcia. If we live our life with Integrity, our values and behavior are consistent and compatible with one another. We also met a lot of engineers in our break-out session who works in different countries and traveled in different countries too. We've met Engr. Jeanher Mae Mahinay who works in China as a Civil Engineer, Engr. Charles Mangga who is a Marine Engineer, Engineer Nesha Deocampo , Engr. Kathleen Guarana, Engr. Shaira Gomez, Engr. Darren Joseph B. Gerona, and Engr. Jemar Maldia.  They are all amazing speakers because they've rendered their time to share their knowledge about the field that they are in , and in answering our queries professionally. I was also touch by the inspirational message given by Mr. John Tobit Cruz and Hon. Israel Salanga. I was amazed of their willingness and passion to work in the government and do all they can to help those people who are in need . I am truly thankful that we still have few people who uses their power to make good deeds , and that is something they should be proud of. This is the last week of our Work Immersion. We were tasked to enroll in a course on TESDA and submit our certificate for proof. We were also tasked to do a digital portfolio of the things that we've done during our Work Immersion and the learnings that we've gained after each session. While doing these tasks, I realized that we are getting closer to the end of the school year. We are about to go to the next chapter of our lives and face another challenge and make another circle of friends. It is the time where we say goodbye to our old friends and part ways. We now have to be on our own and be independent because it is not the same as before where we can still procrastinate whenever we want to. Over the time of my Senior High School life, I had different experiences that I never actually expected. I cried a lot, I failed a lot, and sometimes get triggered by anxiety. These experiences taught me to be strong and be braver all the time. And this taught me to not give up because, for us to reach our goals, we need to go through hardships.
