The Native American’s land was getting tournished, their privacy and space was as well being violated. Then, the Spanish people were arguing over ther Western Boundaries as well after the purchase.

It’s obvious that as well with the country’s growth, they needed more food. And certainly they weren’t getting it from Britain or France, and the new territory was perfect for this, as they did find a lot of fertile land. Then many construction materials like timber specificallyto build the towns, that then became cities that we know today.

After that, they found a lot of rivers, as we of course know the US is filled with, which they used a lot for fishing and trading, as well as for transportation. Then they found a lot of animals and minerals. These were very useful for international trade which the new government was leading pretty succesfully due to Hamilton’s plans. They used a lot of the animals for fur in their clothing and house decorations, back then a cow head in the living room was pretty often seen, as well as those leather boots.

What is a legacy? “It’s planting seed in a garden you’ll never get to see” -Lin Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton. Seen as a symbol for the great expansion of today’s great and beautiful and free American Land, the most of the expansion to what was the big cities in the new land were because of the Lousiana Purchase. It basically gave the country the shape it has economically, geographically, and as well as politically in many aspects.

Spain, on the other hand, had previously controlled the territory and ceded it back to France in 1800.
