The university's main goal is to incorporate curiosity into the students. Furthermore, academic freedom should always be present inside and outside of classrooms. The more successful in teaching the students, the better for the world since they would know how to argue outside of class. For instance, giving free speech is a way to give out their argument and opinions outside of the classroom (into the larger world). Story from experience: conservative views were pressed on him, but at that moment, he didn't fight off where he thought that when thinking back, he would think it was nonsense and look down upon himself. Simply saying that he should have fought for himself. --> agrees with free speech

The professor's lectures were very popular even though it would be intimidating sometimes because his class would use the "Socratic Method." Where they would debate about constitutional laws and that allowed students to improve in defending themselves and build a tight relationship with arguing. --> A way where students can build their free speech skills
