Class Dojo is what I use to communicate with parents. It's a site that if FREE to teachers. It offers a behavior managment piece. You can give positive/negative dojos throughout the day. Parents can login to see how their child is doing throughout the day. I use it only for the communication piece. I load "stories" to show special events or projects we are working in the classroom. There is a messaging piece in which you can send messages to the whole class or to individual parents.

I created a template in google docs for lesson plans. The template is specific to my content area, and the amount/levels of classes I teach throughout the week. I also use class dojo to communicate with parents. It is a free program/app and allows you to upload work, sent out announcements and directly communicate with parents about behavior.
