Women wore clothing such as tunics and a garnment called a stola. Roman women wore togas but only till 2nd century BC. Married women wore a more formal stola when either going out or just having company over. If the roman women were not married then they just wore tunics like the men. Women also wore something called a palla which is a shawl to keep themselves warm. http://www.ducksters.com/history/ancient_rome/clothing.php

Roman men also wore tunics just like roman women. All men that were roman citizens, wore togas over tunics. To stay warm in cold, bad weather, roman men wore a large variety of cloaks. As far as underclothes, roman men usually wore a light under-tunic or loincloth.http://www.ducksters.com/history/ancient_rome/clothing.php
