I think this is important because you shouldnt dwell on things you cannot do, or dwell on things that happened in the past. You should be able to forgive and live without a heavy heart or heavy shoulders. You always miss out on the chances you didnt take.

This quote is important because people often assume that because someone is sick or dying, that they cannot do anything and that they are useless to the world. Morrie wants to show that just because he is dying, he can still make an impact on the world and be of use.

“Coach, I said suddenly, remembering the nickname. Morrie beamed. That’s me. I’m still your coach”. (35). This is important because it has a underlining meaning of respecting people who have helped you in the past. This quote shows that people that have previously helped you can provide great knowledge through life lessons and experiences.

“Love wins. Love always wins.” on page 40. This stood out to me because it shows how Morrie looks at his life. Based on the story so far and how much we know about Morrie, he seems to love life no matter what’s going on around him and no matter his health condition because he wants to live life to the fullest. With him stating that love wins, it shows that his disease isn’t going to affect his outlook on life because he loves life.

If you do not maintain the norm you will get looked at differently. Culture does not like different or change. Negativity will only bring more negativity, the world would be a better place if more postivity was spread.
