Carbon Dioxide and water enter the leaf of the plant. Sunlight hits the membrane of the thylakoid and splitting the water into oxygen. Electrons move down to enzymes. Sunlight hits the enzymes to convert to ATP and NADPH. Then ATP and NADPH are used in the Calvin Cycle as a power source that converts C02 into simple sugars.
