The image includes many St. Johns ambulances because there was nearly 50 people who were murdered by the shooter. This is a very important piece of the story because they needed not only 1 ambulance but most likely around 25. Enough to save/ take bodies away. This image is important because it shows how effected people truly were during this time.  It is important not to only feel for the victims but also for the families because they were also victims in this massacre. Another popular social media platform which is used more frequently these days. The image shows a woman mourning a victim that she has lost. The caption states how people who commit a crime as awful as this one is “disgusting”. As any sane person would agree.  This is another strong picture showing how powerful this event was. This is something that could have been prevented but instead people have lost their lives as well as family members, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. This picture makes you think about how hard it would be to lose a person through a mass shooting.

The video is 49 minutes long and consists of a speech given for the victims who now lay in their graves. This video is very important because not only are the people who were close to the victims affected, but so were people who practice Islam.  When religion is involved it does not only affect the family members but also others world wide who may be subjected to this kind of repetitive discrimination.  This a very powerful speech given to ease the minds of family, friends, and people worldwide who have been affected by the event.

She refuses to watch the rest of the video because it is a hard thing to watch. She states in the video that her son deserves the death penalty because its only fair. He took so many lives, therefore his life should be taken as well.  This video was originally a clip from an interview through a news source. The video clip was taken from twitter. Since twitter is a large social media platform it is not surprising that this was floating around.

This video is taken place in wellington, Newzealand. As you can see there are many cameras out covering this event, not only Global news.  The power is in the people affected first hand who stand in a circle with arms linked together to celebrate the lives of those who have been lost in the event of the mass shooting. It is very sad that so many people were affected.

Ironically this story came from the New York times. Which is a city in the United states (they have the second amendment which is the right to bare arms). This may strike the readers of New York because they may not agree with that. The picture (again) shows a person mourning. Many social media platforms have chosen pictures like these to show how the deaths of nearly 50 people have affected the lives of others. I believe they choose these pictures to make people understand what emotions the victims families are going through.

One of the most suspicious things was that this person had only owned a fire arm since 2017. This is concerning because this means that this person was not raised with proper gun etiquette. Meaning that this person was not using the gun for anything other than violence. In the picture shown you see an officer holding a fire arm. The photo makes sense because this is a trained professional who is surely trained on the proper safety tactics and use of a fire arm.

Reddit is an underground social media site that shows things that are typically blocked from sites like CBC or BBC. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who wish to watch this act of violence. By taking the live video down it raises the awareness of how sick others around the world really are. There are many people who are out there praising the man who shot these 50 victims. By taking the video down it promotes peace rather than violence.

It shows one of the politicians who is demonstrating a form of racism towards the victims who were wrongfully shot. During his statement a child then hits the person for saying such ignorant things and the politician reacts back by violently attacking the child. The video shows how corrupt the government may be. This may take away the stigma when the mass murderer goes to court because then they know that the who world is watching. The families and the victims deserve justice, and this is just the start of that justice (exposing this racism).
