I want to see you as soon as possible. Here the life is very difficult and sometimes I feel I can't do it. In the morning we wake up at six o'clock and we do the same things everyday. We have a shower and we dress up.We wear the armor and we take the weapons including Javelin- Pilum, a special type of javelin, that can be light or heavier. They only give us ten minutes to get ready and then the colonel, Mr. Parker, with the sound of a bell announces the start of breakfast. We go to the canteen and we eat a slice of bread and a cup of milk. I miss your libum primum ( typical slice of bread with honey) in the morning!
After breakfast we come back to the dorm and we get ready for the daily training. It's usually very hard.
We have to do 100 abdominals and after one hour of running we have to simulate a fight in couples. The training generally lasts until lunchtime.
At about midday we have lunch in the canteen with an easy meal. After lunch we go to the dorm and we wear a linen tunica, an helmet and we take the weapons including hasta for close-order fighting and the bow that is made from horn, wood and sinew. Not to brag but I'm the best in archery. In the rest of the day we can rest and tidy up our room.
I miss you everyday more and I can't wait to hug you again. I'll come back home soon, it's a promise.

The differences are that in the Augustus Loricato the clook is wraps around his hips with a particularly elaborate drapery. In the same hand he holds the lance and on the right leg there is also a child: Eros. The imperial armor was typically made of leather with metal insert.
