 The effect or the tone of the image is almost grey rather than black and white, it is because I try to focused on the three flowers in the middle. This image also portrays an emotion about what's happening or what can I describe from the situation. 

The three flowers in the middle symbolise life after her death. The person is blooming after she/he ascended to the heaven and the big flowers (Chrysanthemum) symbolises the family or the people being left after the death. Portraying sadness, blues, depressed, shrivelled.

As I chose the emotion, theme or the feelings that I want to produce in this project are loneliness - depression - grieving - after life. I want to point out the sorrowness with the black colour - to make it looks more dramatic. Also, it is deliberately showing there is a glossy part but turned out to be a 'white'-ish colour on the background. It is contradicted colours - black and white.

I deliberately blurred the bunch of flowers behind and more focused on the other one is because it is showing the flowers on the back are drying, dying and the blurry effect gives fading effect. 

The other flowers showing that happiness/blooming that could happens after life full of sadness and blues. Rainbow after the storm. 

The image also showing things that commonly happened in the real life - world. People often obeying the good things over the bad things.
