These chemicals are used to speed up the light reaction process.
It is generally not referred to as a photographic process because that refers to the natural light exposure process. However can sometimes be called " drawing with light" because chemicals are used to create the same effect light does but at a faster rate.
My overall experience when using the Chemogram method was not as expected, and none of my images came out as I wanted. Both images were too dark. Items were placed on to an enlarger where light was exposed, the areas where the objects have touched the paper is fully exposed therefore is black. where the light has not/partially hit, the image colour spectrum appears white-grey. The darker the image the more it has been exposed to light.
I thought these images were really successful, I liked the choice of objects, and the composition of them which makes the images more successful and interesting to look at. I also like the variation of exposure of the objects, where some appear more faint and others a brighter white. 5)Once this is complete, Develop, stop, and fix your work for (1:30, 0:30 and 4:00)

Next; ensure all lights are off and you are in complete darkness then pursue to open the canister using the can opener and take the film roll out. once this is done carefully accurately cut the 'tongue' off of the film strip and proceed to thread the film onto the spool. once this is complete, put the spool post into the spools and place the spool into the tank lock the funnel into place and place the lid on top.

Then; begin the developing process of developing your film. Now the film is in a light tight area, you can turn on the lights and remove the lid once all the chemicals developer, stop and fix, are mixed in the right ratios proceed to process the film by putting 300ml of developer into the tank for 4 minutes then tip it into the sink now add 300ml of stop to the tank for.... and tip it back into basin. now put 300ml of fix into the tank wait ... and then tip it back into the stop basin. Once this is complete you take your tank and leave it under running cold water for... . 

Finally; Turn on the lights once the chemicals have washed off of your film, tip out the remainder water, remove the funnel and unwind the film from the spool and hang to dry.

Overall I think the images turned out really nicely and effectively, we were able to carry out the outcomes for the task and direct our photographic images. Although it might have seemed like a simple task at first, the longer we creating these images the harder it began to produce creatively original compositions so i had to think outside of the box, because when It comes to drawing with light something that might seem very simple, it’s all about using initiative to create effectively engaging pieces that capture the viewer. zyoneeangus https://padlet.com/zyoneeangus/sb59xd05inwk/wish/211472714 I think these images are successful because they show clear interpretation of light drawings in different and creative ways. i really like the first image because i directed both light drawings to be done differently. also i like the line background behind the subjects i think it gives the image more dimension making it more interesting as well as the intruding red tones lighting up the subjects so we are able to see shadow. Upon researching other light drawing artists i came across Aurora Crowley who uses light to highlight people in his work, similarly to what i have done. But Aurora's main inspiration is energy, he tries to capture people through light which i find really beautiful. Although i think my shoot was successful there are some things i would change about my images especially the third one which i consider my least successful image based on development. Next time i would consider the shapes of the light, and the impact it has on the overall image, i think the final image is weak in terms of sense of direction. If i were to work with light drawings again in the future, i would definitely use more colours and intensity of light, and i would consider the position of my models. When  using this camera I also used a DSLR camera for light metering, to insure the image wasn't over or under exposed without using any film rolls to do so. this really helped my work because all the images that developed are correctly exposed. I also had to manipulate the focus ring, but even though I did try and focus my images, you can still see that they are slightly out of focus. this however didn't change the quality of my images. To create these images my insperation was karl Blossfeldt. who creates simply effective compositions dead plants, So I also used dead plant to create my composition, I placed the plants inside a tube like container leaning them against the background to levitate them off the surface similarly to how Blossfeldt would.  In my opinion the most successful parts of the image is the grey tones, I really like how there's not a lot of highlights and shadows, I think it makes the image more beautiful and artistic. The strobe light allows the camera to see movements that the naked eye cant identify by using a low shutter speed in t5he dark. the subject must stand directly under the strobe lights and make one movement eg: lifting arms or jumping. the longer the movement the harder it will be for the strobe lights to capture it. zyoneeangus https://padlet.com/zyoneeangus/sb59xd05inwk/wish/211901693 Shown below is a few of my images, which all show the effects of strobing in different ways.  They were created using strobe lights in a darkened room, the second image however, had other light leak into the photo during the exposer time which I think enhances the image considering not the subject is unclear within the composition, the purple makes it more interesting. similarly to the colours the subjects are wearing in the first photo which stand out on the black backdrop both results were created unintentially but are effective. Although most of the images taken were very successful, some of them didn't come out as intended, at first the shutter speed was too fast and couldn't pick capture the motion in timed so we chanethe shutter speed to ..... which was effective so we decided to leave it at that. but then because of the long shutter speed small under exaggerated movements weren't being captured so we had to do slower and more precise movements.
