         <title>Professional “Take Away” from Reviewing Resources</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My biggest takeaway from the resources is that burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma are not signs of weakness, but signs that we care deeply—and that we must be proactive in caring for ourselves just as intentionally. The <em>ProQOL</em> resources helped me realize how important it is to check in with myself regularly to assess the emotional costs of caring (ProQOL, n.d.). Understanding that we can experience both burnout <em>and</em> compassion satisfaction at the same time was especially impactful.</p>]]></description>

If we do not prioritize our well-being, we risk becoming impaired, which not only affects our ability to help others but can cause harm (ACA, 2014). Regular self-assessment and intentional boundaries help us maintain the emotional resilience necessary for this work.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Identification &amp; Description of Personal Self-Care Strategies</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>To manage stress and decompress after intense days, I use gaming and recreational shooting as part of my self-care routine. Playing <em>Destiny 2</em> helps me mentally disengage from work, refocus, and reset in a fun and immersive way. Visiting the shooting range provides me with a physical outlet for stress and helps me feel grounded and clear-minded. Both activities give me space to recharge and return to my work with renewed energy.</p>]]></description>
