         <description><![CDATA[<div>Plants make their food or glucose by taking in sunlight from the sun, water, and carbon dioxide . After having all those resources the chloroplast turns it into glucose for the plant to grow. They let out oxygen as waste.</div>]]></description>

Plants need different mineral elements like nitrogen and potassium. If you can add these minerals to your plant's water supply then you no longer need soil for your plant to grow.
