London Scout groups will have the opportunity to host some of the International Scout groups before or after the Jamboree, this will be an amazing opportunity for your young people and adults to learn about Scouting in different countries and showcase your London hospitality.

Every four years, the World Scout Jamboree brings together over 45,000 Explorer Scouts from across the globe, creating an unforgettable experience of cultural exchange and camaraderie.

However, not all young people get the chance to attend a World Scout Jamboree, whether due to timing, cost, or other barriers. That’s why national and regional Jamborees are held, to make this once in a lifetime experience more accessible and inclusive.

MSF Jamborees are our way of bringing the essence of a Jamboree to the Muslim Scouting community. It's a unique opportunity to celebrate our identity, strengthen bonds, and come together as One Scout Family. Over a few days, young people and adults alike get to experience the richness of Scouting and experience the beauty and diversity of our Ummah.

This is to make your Jamboree experience smoother for your group.

MSF run Nights Away Weekends where your leaders can attend to learn all of the skills needed to then be assessed locally by your District when you run your own camp.

It is important that all adults attending with your group, whether they are section leaders of parent volunteers, are comfortable, confident and competent in the outdoors.

We recommend that you have at least one outdoor camp before Jamboree.

We ask that all payments are made by card payment at the time of booking.

Payment can be made by invoice in extenuating circumstances, but this must be approved by the Jamboree team and you must email to request this.

If you are paying by invoice, all earlybird payments MUST be paid by the 19th of April 2026 and all standard booking payments MUST be paid by the 17th of May.

You have SIX months to benefit from the Earlybird discount!

We are unable to honour the Earlybird price on any bookings made after this date.

If you wish to benefit from the Earlybird pricing then please ensure you register your group in a timely manner prior to the deadline.

This is the FINAL sign-up deadline.

We will not accept ANY bookings after this date, and will not be able to make any exceptions.

Please ensure your team have organised themselves in order to book your group on in a timely manner. If you have new members joining you for the Summer Term, please advertise the Jamboree to them in advance of them joining so that they can still attend the Jamboree if they wish.

We are also unable to transfer any tickets after this date (for example, if you wanted to swap a beaver ticket for a scout ticket etc.).

We will be unable to refund any tickets after the 17th of May.

Please ensure all refund requests have been submitted before this date.

Refund requests due to exceptional or mitigating circumstances are discretionary and should be communicated in writing to the Jamboree Team via email (jamboree@ukmsf.org). MSF reserves the right to refuse refunds after this date.

You will not be able to change ANY information after this date, this means that you will also be unable to swap any like-for-like attendees after this date (changing a beaver to a different beaver or a cub to a different cub).

You must ensure that all attendees booked have ALL of the correct information required for them, this includes allergies and medical information.

Please note and understand that unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any allergies/dietary requirements or medical conditions that are not submitted by this date.

We require proof that your Nights Away Notification has been approved by your district by no later than the 7th of June 2026.

We need to know exactly what tents and gazebos you are brining by the 17th of May 2026.

We will need to know the exact number and make of each tent so that the space can be planned appropriately.

A form will be added to the form section in due course.

Please ensure you have this information ready prior to this date so that you can complete this form in a timely manner.

We need to know what time you would like to arrive and depart from the campsite and also how your group will be arriving and departing.

We also need to know how many vehicles will be staying for the duration of the event.

Please note NO cars will be allowed to stay at the campsite, and all vehicles will be parked at an off-site car park. Exact details will be shared closer to the time.

A form will be added to the form section of the padlet in due course.

Any attendees MUST attend for the full duration of the event, and cannot leave site once they have arrived. Please bear this in mind when booking on young people and adults.

We are aware that the Summer can be a busy period, however, there is enough notice for rescheduling of calendars around the Jamboree dates.

Unfortunately, if any members of your group are unable to arrive or depart at the same time as your group they will not be able to attend the Jamboree on this occasion.

We will have a security team in place and you will not be able to leave site for the duration of the Jamboree. This is for the safety of all members, especially the young people.

All vehicles will be kept at an offsite car park.

Please spend time ensuring you have the appropriate equipment and that it is suitable for all weather conditions and in good condition. The MSF team are here to support prior to the Jamboree where needed.

If you have members of your team that require CPAP machines or similar please take this in to consideration when thinking about your equipment and ensure they/you have sufficient portable power stations to power this. There will be no indoor accommodation available.

However, we are only able to provide a refund for cancelled tickets up until the 17th of May.

Refunds do not include the booking fee.

After the 17th of May, we are unable to provide a refund for any cancelled tickets. Refund requests due to exceptional or mitigating circumstances are discretionary and should be communicated in writing to the Jamboree Team via email (jamboree@ukmsf.org). MSF reserves the right to refuse refunds after this date.

ALL adult attendees will be required to bring photographic ID (this can be a photo of the ID, it does not have to be the physical ID) so that the MSF team can confirm that the adults in attendance are who they say they are and that they have the necessary DBS and training on Scouts Compass. This is for the safety of everyone on site.

Once the MSF Admin team have confirmed that the adults registered are the ones that are present, each adult will be given a lanyard that they MUST wear for the duration of the camp.

If an adult is found to not be wearing the lanyard at any point during the camp, they will be questioned by a member of the MSF team and will be escorted to their tent to collect it, or to the admin team. MSF reserve the right to ask any adults who do not comply with this safety measure to leave the campsite.

All adults MUST be included on your nights away notification form (NAN) that is submitted to your district commissioner for approval to attend the Jamboree.

Please ensure DBS's are completed in time for the Jamboree. Any adults without a DBS will NOT be able to attend the Jamboree.

Please keep an eye on DOB's for anyone who is due to turn 18 before the Jamboree, you can complete their DBS from the age of 17 years and 6 months.

We also advise that as many of the adults as possible in your group have completed their First Aid training and also have this recorded on the Scouts membership system.

It's our responsibility as Muslims to ensure cleanliness and instill this value in our young Scouts right from the beginning of their Scouting journey.

Everyone must ensure the cleanliness of their young ones and themselves. This includes checking toilet cubicles after use to ensure they're left in proper condition. If not, kindly ask the young person to clean it or do so yourself if necessary. Cleaning products will be available in all toilet facilities.

Bring litter pickers and black bags as a group to encourage the young people to clean up after themselves and educate them about the negative effects of littering.

Use the designated areas for ablution to avoid wet and messy floors in the general bathroom areas.

Jugs are provided in each cubicle, so please avoid leaving plastic bottles around.

MSF reserve the right to ask young people/leaders/groups to leave the camp if there are any issues with conduct or behaviour.

We would advise that you hold an in-person or online meeting with them once registration goes live to tell them more about the event and what it is, as well as a meeting closer to the Jamboree for those that have booked on to check their equipment and also give any more information regarding the event.

We appreciate all support and sponsorship, whether it be monetary sponsorship, in-kind donations or services.

Each group will be placed in a zone based on how many miles they have to travel to Gilwell Park.

Please note, we have done this in order to make the Jamboree as accessible as possible for all groups.

The campsite will be divided in to different Sub-Camps and each group will be assigned a sub-camp.

You will interact with the other groups in your sub-camps prior to the Jamboree and you will have an MSF Sub-Camp Lead and Team who will look after you through your Jamboree Journey.

Think of all of the attendees at the MSF Jamboree as your Scout Family, but everyone in your Sub-Camp as your immediate family for the weekend. You will be living, sleeping and eating amongst one another for the duration of the event.

The purpose of a Jamboree is to meet new people and experience new things, so we will be mixing the Sub-Camps up with groups of different ages, sizes and from different locations all coming together.

Each Sub-Camp will have a name and theme, these will be released at a later date.

Please do not smoke or vape in your tents/in the toilets/in public spaces. We encourage you not to smoke or vape at all, but if you really need to there will be a dedicated space on the campsites which you must utilise.

We ask that you go to sleep at a reasonable time, or keep the noise down at night if you are staying up as not to disturb other groups.

Have a timeline and work to it.

Arrange appropriate transport, ensure all forms have been completed, ensure you have first aid equipment, all your young people have the right equipment etc.

Jamboree's are an amazing opportunity to really get to know your young people. Encourage them to participate and to engage with the programme, get stuck in with them, motivate them when they are slightly apprehensive, create a vibe for them, lead chants and be a part of them having an incredible experience.

Please ensure all of the leaders that are attending with your group understand that when they take the young people around to different zones they should all continue to engage with the young people throughout the zone, not sit to the side whilst the young people are left to their own devices within the zone.

They must have a minimum of 2 Explorer Leaders looking after them and going around with them.

It is not relevant to Explorer Scouts who turn 18 BEFORE the Jamboree as they are classed as adults and will either be an MSF Adult Volunteer or a Leader/Adult Volunteer with your group. You can initiate a DBS for them from when they are 17 years and 6 months.

IF a young person is turning 18 DURING the Jamboree then they are still treated as a young person.

Explorers aged 16 and 17 have the option of coming to the Jamboree as either an attendee or as an Explorer Volunteer. There will be some exceptions for younger explorers who wish to volunteer and who are part of core teams, but this is subject to discussion with the Explorer Lead.

If Explorers/Young Leaders are attending as an MSF Volunteer they will also need to have Explorer Leaders volunteering alongside them for the duration of the Jamboree.

Explorer/Young Leader Volunteers will have a ticket price of £35.

All Explorer Leader, Explorer and Young Leader volunteers will need to be at Gilwell Park from the evening of the 21st of July, as well as attending a compulsory in-person prep day at Gilwell Park on Saturday 20th June 2026.

We cannot guarantee that any messages sent to the team via WhatsApp will be acknowledged or responded to.

You will not need to bring plates and cutlery for the main meals provided.

However, you will need reusable bottles, mugs/thermal mugs for water, cold and hot drinks.

Food will be served in crates, you will be expected to return empty crates back to the service point in your sub-camp.

It is your responsibility to ensure there is no food wastage, the kitchen team will not accept any leftover food back in to the kitchen, you should ensure that you distribute the food amongst your group or dispose of it correctly.

Please speak to your district to see what they would like to see included in your own risk assessment.

The flags will be used at opening ceremony and also in your sub-camp area.

We recommend that groups bring a selection of board games and other indoor activities to ensure young people remain engaged if the programme needs to be temporarily suspended.

Please ensure that parents and carers are informed in advance so that young people arrive appropriately prepared. Kit lists should include items such as hats, sunscreen, handheld fans, extra blankets, and cooling towels (snap cloths).

If you are coming to pitch your tents on the Tuesday or Wednesday please arrive at your allocated time as per the document above.

Please ensure any parents dropping off also strictly adhere to the drop off instructions and timings.

🚎 All coaches arrive directly to Gilwell Park at the allocated time slot.

🚐 All minibuses arrive directly to Gilwell Park at the allocated time slot. The driver remains in the vehicle whilst everyone else and everything is unloaded in to your allocated bay. As soon as the vehicle has been emptied the driver drives directly to the long stay car park to park the minibus. They are then shuttled back to the campsite in the MSF shuttle.

🚗 All leaders cars and all parental drop-offs go directly to the long stay car park. No cars will be permitted entry to Gilwell Park including blue badge holders. If your group has parental drop-offs, the leaders must arrive 15 minutes prior to the parental-drop offs taking place so that you have time to arrive, register your car and park, ready to receive your young people when they arrive.

If you are coming in multiple forms of transport (for example coach and minibus and cars) please ensure your leaders are spread appropriately across the different vehicles in order to be able to manage and look after the young people appropriately.

Please communicate clearly with parents and ensure they understand the instructions.

For ease you may wish to find a large public car park nearby to congregate prior to your allocated arrival slot and then once everyone is present, travel to the car park in a convoy for ease.

Please ensure no valuables are left in your car. MSF will not be held liable for any theft or damage to your car, as with any other public car park.
